About Friends of Yardley Wood Library
We’re a brand new community organisation set up to support Yardley Wood Library in South Birmingham.
We’re currently in the early organisational stages, but we’ll soon be embarking on some fundraising projects, hosting some new events, and most importantly, recruiting volunteers!
Saturday Openings
Note: Birmingham City Council currently intends to close our Library on Saturdays, one of our busiest days, and the only time that school-age children are able to visit. We are part of the Birmingham Loves Libraries campaign opposing this, but we are also recruiting volunteers as an alternative plan to keep Saturdays open.
